These early years in education paved the way for her move to Los Angeles in the mid 1980's for film and television roles. It was by tutoring kids in her one-bedroom apartment on Wilton Boulevard that she realized she could find more meaning and have a greater impact.Her vision and leadership in the development of Educating Young Minds (EYM) an after-school tutorial and enrichment program and Access/ No Excuse (ANE), an education, career guided digital platform, reshaped the way EYM students were educated post pandemic, providing 24/7 on-line access to a STEM based curriculum in English and Spanish.
