Annapurna Das Annapurna Das, born in India, received her BSc (Hons) and MSc degrees in Physics from Calcutta University, India, and her MTech degree in Microwave Electronics and PhD degree in Eletrical Engineering from University of Delhi, India.As a senior rsearch fellow of CSIR, New Delhi, she was engaged in teaching undergraduate courses in Electrical Engineering Department, Delhi College of Engineering, during 1980 to 1982 and in her doctoral research in the Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai, during 1983 to mid 1985.She joined the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering,Anna University in September 1985 where she was a Professor. She was in charge of the microwave laboratory and was engaged in a number of training, research and teaching programmes of the Anna University in the areas of microwaves, EMI/EMC, electromagnetics and antenna.She is a life member of Society of the EMC Engineers (India) and the Indian Society of Technical Educations (ISTE).
