For many years she has been chair of the Hackney Marsh User Group. In this context she has sought to defend Hacney Marshes from inappropriate development. Her enthusiasm has encouraged local people to plant thousands of trees in Hackney parks. Anne has a passion for Roman archaeology, Islamic architecture and Round Tower churches.
