His published works include poetry collections, essays, reviews and a translation. Though his essays and reviews have appeared in dozens of sholarly and literary journals, he considers Home Boys the most important work of his life. A professor of English, he has defended the mysteries of writing, literature and art at the New York Institute of Technology for nearly 40 years.
