Arthur TremblayArthur Tremblay (1917-1996) was a Canadian politician. From 1961 to 1964 he was a member of the Parent Commission on Education which recommended the creation of the Ministry of Education, where he became the first deputy minister (194). In 1971, he became Deputy Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs. Appointed to the Senate in 1979, he was appointed Special Advisor to constitutional affairs and federal-provincial relations in 1984, and was the National Order of Quebec Officer in 1991.
