Ashleigh Butler

During the decade Ash Butler has spent living and travelling in campervans across Australia and the US with her partner, Jared, she drew on her love of cooking, experimentation, and work as a cook in small cafes and, often, caterer to the giant gaherings organised by @vanlifediaries (a social media platform, of which Jared is a co-founder), to become an expert on preparing tasty and wholesome food in small spaces. Working on various farms, including her family's organic farm in Numinbah Valley, taught Ash about the importance of sustainability, eating seasonally, and minimising waste. These days, Ash shares her evenings around their small dining table with Jared and their twin daughters and works during the day on a bio-intensive farm in country Victoria.
