Ashley Evans has illustrated many notable books for children, including Whoopi Goldberg’s Sugar Plum Ballerina series, Gabrielle Union’s debut picture book, Welcome to the Party, and You Are Not Alone by The Alphbet Rockers. Born and raised in Queens, New York, she now lives in Charlotte, North Carolina, with her daughter. When she’s not creating art you can find her decorating cakes, enjoying her family, or catching a much-needed nap!
