Asif Iqbal HajamydeenAsif Iqbal Hajamydeen holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Bharathidasan University, India (1995) and an M.Sc in Computer Science from the same university (1998). He earned his Ph.D. in 2014 from Universiti Putra Malaysia with a thesis n “Unsupervised Anomaly-Based Intrusion Detection Framework for Heterogeneous Logs.” Beginning his career as a Lecturer in 2000, he taught programming at Kolej TAFE Seremban, Malaysia. Over the years, he transitioned to Imperia Institute of Technology as a Software Development Trainer and later joined Management & Science University in 2007 as a Lecturer, where he now holds the position of Associate Professor (2022). Besides teaching, he supervises postgraduate students, obtained Professional Technologist recognition in 2022, and currently serves as the Manager of the Cyber Security Operation Centre at the Centre of Cyber Security and Big Data in the university.
