Asmaa Mahfoud AlhakimiDr. Asma’a Alhakimi obtained her Diploma in Computer Programming in 2006 from the University of Science and Technology in Sanaa, Yemen. She earned her bachelor’s degree in computer studies in 2008 from Northumbria University in Newcastle, UK, followe by a master’s degree in software engineering in 2011 from Staffordshire University, UK. She completed her Ph.D. in Software Engineering at Universiti Putra Malaysia. Dr. Asma’a has extensive experience in the networking field and served as a lecturer at Asia Pacific University (APU) in Malaysia for five years. She is recognized for her expertise in conducting industrial cybersecurity training. Her research interests encompass Cybersecurity, Reverse Engineering, Software Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence. In addition to her teaching and research responsibilities, Dr. Asma’a is an Editorial Board Member of the American Journal of Electrical and Computer Engineering (AJECE) and is affiliated with the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and IEEE Access. Currently, she is a senior lecturer and researcher at MSU University, where she leads a research group focused on cybersecurity and forensics.
