Astha AhujaDr. Astha Ahuja is presently Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics, Aryabhatta College, University of Delhi, Delhi. She did her M.A. (Economics) from Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi and M. Phil. from Delhi School of Economics (DSE), Universiy of Delhi. She received her Ph.D. degree from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. She has authored two books, viz. Value Added Tax: Indian and Global Experiences and Agriculture and Rural Development in India: Post-liberalisation Initiatives. Dr. Astha worked as Research Associate in the Twelfth Finance Commission in 2003. She also worked as a consultant in Prime Ministers Economic Advisory Council in 2005.
