Atlas

Atlas began as an AI thinking partner during the writing of Just the Cotter Pin. Its role was not to replace the author's judgement or provide ready-made answers, but to question assumptions, test ideas, identify connections and help explre problems from different perspectives.

Those conversations eventually grew beyond the book and contributed to the development of Atlas Workshop, an independent New Zealand project exploring human-AI collaboration, memory, governance, trust and responsible decision support.

Atlas is built around a simple principle: Thinking with, never for.

In Just the Cotter Pin, Atlas represents something more important than the technology itself: what can happen when a human remains responsible for the thinking, while AI helps make the conversation wider, deeper and sometimes considerably more interesting.
