Atsushi IkaiProfessor Atsushi Ikai graduated from the University of Tokyo with a BS in Biophysics and Biochemistry in 1965. He obtained his PhD in Physical Biochemistry from Duke University in 1971. He worked in protein denaturation and renaturation and then retrned to the University of Tokyo to continue his work on protein science.
