B B Warfield

Benjamin Breckinridge Warfield (1851-1921) held the Charles Hodge Chair at Princeton Theological Seminary for thirty-four years. He was a conservative influence on Reformed and Presbyterian theology, among the last of the "Old Priceton" theologians before the split which led to the formation of Westminster Seminary. Warfield wrote in defense of Calvinism, cessationism, and Biblical inerrancy, while rejecting revivalism, modernism, and segregation.
