B Frank HallB. Frank Hall was raised as a southern gentleman in Atlanta, Ga. He went to college and attained an Associates in Mortuary Science, and a BA in Business Communications. After graduating, he went straight into the funeral business and worked there forover 6 years. From there he went into the corporate world and ended up with an international company. B. Frank Hall traveled the world and lived in several countries including, South Africa, Trinidad, Venezuela, and England. These two careers gave him many rich experiences from which he drew from to create Black Diamond. The funeral business had a monumental impact on him, giving him a great appreciation for life, and a keen, sometimes dark, sense of humor. In Black Diamond, he creates a character who owns and operates a funeral home. It is through this character Mr. Hall is able to incorporate his experiences in the funeral business, thereby, giving the reader the unique experience of reading the novel through the eyes of a mortician.
