B.S. BhandariB. S. Bhandari started his academic career with receiving Gold Medal in Master's Degree. Thereafter, joined Ph. D. programme in the global burning issue of Fire Ecology. He has prevailed the CSIR, Pool Officership and DST Young Scientist Award of Govrnment of India. Presently, he is a senior faculty in the Department of Botany and Microbiology, HNB Garhwal University (A Central University), Uttarakhnad, India. He has a wide experience of teaching and research in the field of Himalayan Ecology, Environmental Sciences and Conservation Biology. He has published more than three dozen research paper and articles in the journals of national and international repute. So far, he has supervised five Ph. D. scholars leading to doctorate degree. He is an ardent trekker and photographer devoted to document the floral and faunal diversity. For the last one decade he is working on the floral and avifaunal relationships of the ecosystems.
