Babak BehnamDr. Babak Behnam has completed his PhD degree at the University College London (UCL) in Human Genetics. Then he served as postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Michigan School of Medicine and University of Central Florida (UCF). He joinedthe Undiagnosed Disease Program (UDP) at NIH while doing an American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomic in clinical biochemical laboratory genetics at NHGRI, NIH. He joined NSF International as a clinical research organization. Dr. Behnam has published more than 70 peer-reviewed papers and has nine patents to his name throughout his career; also, has served as an Editorial Board Member of several scientific journals. He has enthusiasm in translational research, neuroscience & neurogenetics, and biochemical & molecular mechanisms utilizing advanced technological improvements in biochemical genetics, genomics, and NGS platforms.
