Babu Rao Gonipati

Dr. Babu Rao Gonipati has done double Post Graduation from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam and Joined Hindustan Shipyard in the Managerial Cadre and worked in Personal and Commercial Division which later prompted him to choose Human Resource Deveopment as the research topic for his Doctorate. His zeal for academic pursuit made him resign his job in Hindustan Shipyard and join Andhra University. Dr. Rao is a practicing HRD personal. He believes in practical Approach rather than theory. He is a member of ILA, IASLIC, and IATLIS; and has been Vice-President of Visakha Library Network. He has been bestowed a University Gold Medal for his best Ph.D. Thesis by the Chancellor, The Honourable Governor of Andhra Pradesh Dr. C. Rangarajan. The Author has recently attended World Library Summit (WLS)-2002 held at Singapore from 22nd-26th April, 2002.
