Barb MasonDr. Mason is Vice Chair and Professor at Idaho State University College of Pharmacy. She earned her Pharm.D. degree from the University of Nebraska and completed a residency in Primary Care at the Kansas City VA Medical Center. Dr. Mason initiated a eriatrics pharmacy curriculum and ambulatory care pharmacy service during her tenure at South Dakota State University. She then became Director of Pharmacy Education and faculty with the University of Arkansas College of Pharmacy and Family Practice Medical Residency Program.Dr. Mason is Residency Director for the Boise VA Primary Care Residency Program. She was named Idaho State University College of Pharmacy Most Influential Professor in May 2000. She plays an active role in the Idaho Society of Health System Pharmacists, Idaho Pharmacy Research and Education Foundation and the Idaho Pharmacy Leadership Council. She is recognized as a Fellow of the American Society of Health System Pharmacists and is a past-recipient of Pharmacist of the Year and Upjohn Pharmacy Research Award.
