Barney WarfBarney Warf is a professor of Geography at the University of Kansas, USA. His research and teaching interests lie within the broad domain of human geography. Much of his research concerns economic geography, emphasizing producer services and telecommnications. He has studied a range of topics that fall under the umbrella of globalization, including New York as a global city, fiber optics, the satellite industry, offshore banking, international producer services, and the geographies of the Internet.
