Barrie M. Morrison

Barrie M Morrison is Professor Emeritus at the Department of Asian Studies and Honorary Professor at the Institute of Asian Studies, University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada. He has been a Consultant to the Canadian Ministry of Forign Affairs and the International Centre for Development Research. His recent research has been on rural social change and agricultural development in Sri Lanka and India. He has published articles on social change in Sri Lanka and development policies in Asia. He has written on the history of Bengal and co-authored books on Kerala and Sri Lanka.
