He is the author of A Vision of American Law: Judging Law, Literature, and the Stories We Tell, Understanding Bioethics and Law: The Promises and Perils of the Brave New Wrld of Biotechnology, Veterans on Trial: The Coming Court Battles Over PTSD, and a prior novel, The Ramadi Affair (2016).
