His debut play Torch the Place was staged by Melbourne Theatre Company and will be restaged by Queensland Theatre in 2026. He is th bestselling author of The Family Law, which was shortlisted for Book of the Year at the Australian Book Industry Awards and adapted into three seasons of the award-winning SBS TV series of the same name, for which Benjamin was creator, associate producer and screenwriter.
