He is editor of several german texts of the 15th century and author of numerous publications about Medieval German literature and culture. Ingrid Bennewitz born in 1956, held the Chair of Medieval German Philology at the Otto Friedrich University of Bamberg from 1995 to 2023 and was a founding member of the Center for Medieval Studies.
