She is also the book review editor of the Jane Austen Sciety, a member of the National Book Critics Circle, and serves on the advisory board of Brandeis University Press. She lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and has two remarkable grown daughters, two awesome (equally grown) sons-in-law, and three magnificent grandchildren, one of whom is called Pia.
