He is having a vast Experience of more than 20 years in the Hospitality & Tourism sectors . He has authored 04 Books i.e The Great Assamese Cuisine: Volume -1 and The CRS and Banking Sector in India and Stress Management in Service Industry and Hotel Accommodation Operations published 02 edited books and 35 Research Papers in various National and International Journals and Books . He is the Life Time member of Indian Hospitality Congress . Dr. Chourasia has also been awarded with two time best HoD of the Year during 2018-19, 2019-20 and also receivedGlobal Hospitality Award-2019.Recently he received UPACRI 2022-perficio award for Best creative Head of the year Presented by DHS Foundation, New Delhi, India and Faculty of Entrepreneurship and Business, Universiti Malaysia Kelantan, MALAYSIA in collaboration with Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University on 28th May 2022 and felicitated with a Letter of Appreciation from Honorable Vice Chancellor, Assam down town University for successfully attempting the National Record, i.e. Limca Book of Record (LBR) for 2023 edition by Preparing & Assembling 517 varieties of Pastries in a record-breaking time of 3hours 44minutes on 11th May 2022. He has also Got Faculty of the Month of May-22 from AdtU, Guwahari, Assam. He was invited as the key note speaker in various conference and seminars.
