Bill GlassBILL GLASS was one of the most outstanding football players in the NFL. He was a unanimous All-American at Baylor University and a member of the College Football Hall of Fame. After one year in Canadian football, he enjoyed an eleven-year NFL career ith the Detroit Lions and Cleveland Browns and was a four-time Pro Bowl selection. During his time with the Browns, which included the 1964 championship season, Bill spent his off-seasons studying for a degree in theology at Southwestern Seminary. After hanging up his jersey, Glass founded the Bill Glass Ministries in 1969, at the urging of his close friend Billy Graham. He has been in prison ministry for sixty years and has been conducting city-wide crusades for over fifty. Today, through his program Bill Glass Behind the Walls, Bill has shared the Word of God with thousands of inmates and is the founder and leader of one of the world's oldest and largest prison ministries, with 35,000 volunteer participants.
