His research interests embrace branding and innovation, retailing and e-retailing, shopping mall branding, interactive branding, city branding, mareting theory, and marketing strategy. He publishes very widely in international scholarly journals, and has published a number of books, research monographs, cases studies and book chapters. Bill's work has been recognised with various awards for research excellence.
