Bill ShawBill Shaw has survived some of the toughest war zones in the world during his twenty-eight years in the British Army, including Northern Ireland, Bosnia, Columbia, Iraq, Afghanistan and the Gulf War, and was awarded an MBE for his service. In March 210, Bill was wrongfully arrested in Afghanistan and accused of corruption, despite a lack of any evidence against him. Bill was held in Kabul's Pul-e-Charkhi prison, alongside inmates from the Taliban and al-Qaeda. After a sustained campaign fight by his family back at home, he was finally released four months later after all charges were dropped.
