Bill YenneBill Yenne is the author of more than three dozen books on military and aviation topics. Walter J. Boyne of the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, called him a "Master Story Teller." His work has been selected for the official Chief of Staf of the Air Force Reading List, and he is the recipient of the Air Force Association's prestigious Gill Robb Wilson Award for his "most outstanding contribution to shaping how many people understand and appreciate airpower." His works on aviation and aerospace history include several meticulously detailed histories of such legendary planemakers as Boeing, Convair, Lockheed, McDonnell Douglas, North American Aviation, and Rockwell International. Yenne's various works have been translated into six languages. He is a member of the American Aviation Historical Society, and he has contributed to encyclopaedias of both world wars.
