Bryan taught years 11 and 12 students for over 30 years, along with each year's 1-12 leels for various amounts of the 42 teaching years. He has been a primary/elementary school principal (twice) and an assistant principal in a secondary school (for twelve years). Bryan was the chair or secretary of the local diocesan and parish pastoral councils. He is married to Karen with three adult children and four grandchildren. Bryan has professionally published academic journal articles. He also self-published his five school and church marketing books, beginning in 2008 and concluding in 2011.
