C G ThompsonC. G. Thompson has loved the study of nature since he was in Mis White's class in the fifth grade. He has personally collected many small creatures over the years. Now, at age 77, he still reads about nature's creatures, especially those native to th southwest. He was born on a poultry ranch outside of Amarillo, Texas in January 1945. His father and grandfather owned the ranch as partners. After his grandparents died in 1952, he moved to Phoenix, Arizona. He began teaching in the 1980s using the K.L.K.Y.
