C H Groot ObbinkCourtney's love for fantasy was born at the early age of 7 when The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time came out on Nintendo 64. She found herself so enthralled with the game, playing it through multiple times, that she spent ages 11 to 16 writing a faniction novel. During this time, she discovered the amazing Raymond E Feist and his many books (Magician to this day being her favourite book). When she wasn't writing, she was reading or drawing, most of her time spent in a world of imagination.In 2014, Courtney moved to Stockholm, Sweden. Here she was introduced to Dungeons & Dragons and had the amazing opportunity to work in a medieval restaurant.
