C J LawsonC.J. Lawson was born in Walnut Creek, California, and his family moved to Utah when he was a teenager where he still resides. It was there that he discovered his passion for writing from a friend and fellow writer. He wrote his first novel in eighth rade before attending high school. While there, he was an active member of the National Speech and Debate Association. He has received multiple awards and recognitions related to comedic short stories he has written over the years (including one certificate with Elmo on it for some reason). He is currently a student again, but is holding out hope that this time he will be done with school.
