Cally Beaton

Cally Beaton is a comedian, keynote speaker, awards host, business leader, podcaster, writer and entrepreneur. She has held senior management positions at some of the biggest media companies in the world. Early in her career she headed an independnt television production company that was bought by ITV and became the youngest and only female member on the board. She left to set up an award-winning creative consultancy, Road Trip Media, and went on to do a ten-year stint as Senior Vice President at the US studio giant ViacomCBS. If you want someone to blame for bringing South Park and SpongeBob SquarePants to the world, you need look no further.

Cally was nudged into the sphere of performance after a chance conversation with the late, great Joan Rivers, then 81, and so it was that as a 45-year-old single parent, she first took to the stage. She made her debut appearance on the BBC's Live at the Apollo at the age of 53, cementing her position as one of the most exciting stand-ups in the country.

Cally is a regular panellist on BBC2's QI and The Apprentice: You're Fired, as well as featuring on Countdown's Dictionary Corner, Richard Osman's House of Games, Pointless Celebrities and The Blame Game. Cally is a regular contributor on BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio 5 Live, Times Radio, Scala Radio and BBC London. She has written for The Guardian and The Financial Times and has a Masters in Neuro Linguistic Programming.

In 2021 she launched her hit podcast 'Namaste Motherf*ckers' with a star-studded roster of celebrity guests. including Miriam Margolyes, Sir Grayson Perry, Sally Phillips, Deborah Meaden, Kirsty Wark, Omid Djalili, Susie Dent, Esther Rantzen, Paloma Faith and the Reverend Richard Coles.
