Cameron ShieldsFrom an early age, Cameron Shields worked alongside her father in his art studio, as he fulfilled his responsibilities as Art Director for an advertising firm. Ever-encouraging of her interest in the study of nature, he spent time time with her walkig and collecting samples of pond water, leaves, flowers and other remnants of nature which they examined at home under a microscope, and Cammy spent hours analyzing and drawing. After a career in healthcare and then later teaching science at the university level, Cammy resumed her passion for connecting with nature, and exploring her environment through art, and began the practices of birdwatching and watercolor painting.
