Candace LangCandace Lang is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia. Her research focus is the development of novel materials for novel engineering applications. Current interests include nanoparticle catalysts for hydrogn fuel cell. Candace completed a Bachelor's degree in Science (Physics and Mathematics) and then transferred to Engineering for postgraduate research leading to a Ph.D. at the University of Cape Town (UCT). She has been active in the development of metallic materials for applications as diverse as jewellery, fuel cell catalysts, and medical electrodes.
