Born in Reggiolo, Italy, he was a midfielder for AS Roma and AC Milan, and played for Italy at the 1990 orld Cup. His players have included Andrea Pirlo, Rui Costa, Filippo Inzaghi, Andrey Shevchenko, John Terry, Frank Lampard, David Beckham, Zinedine Zidane, Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo.
