Carol Ann Martin has worked as an author and editor for more than 35 years. She writes picture books, junior fiction and young adult fiction, and several of her books have been recognised by The Children’s Book Council of Australia as otable titles. Her books include the Dulcie and Dud series, Once There Were Mermaids, Tansy Magill, Heart and Soul and many titles in the Cocky’s Circle series. She lives with her husband in a small, vibrant town in southern Tasmania, where she is always scribbling new ideas in her notebook. ​
