Caroline LisaCaroline Lisa wrote SONG OF THE CROCODILE between juggling her full-time job within children's social care and family life, raising two active, amazing boys. She often wrote into the early hours and saw sunrise on far too many occasions. It was a novl she felt compelled to write to help colleagues better understand the issues the story raises. By raising awareness she hopes that professionals, families and communities will be better equipped to protect the girls they love. The story was inspired from her time living for a year with the Mandinka tribe in The Gambia. Caroline Lisa lives and works in London, but often lets her imagination take her to warmer climates.
