Carolyn Cope is the voice behind the popular food and lifestyle blog Umami Girl. She created the weekly "Crisper Whisperer" column on Serious Eats, which brought seasonal produce to life for a broad audience with humor and simple echnique. Since 2008 she has contributed to, and been featured in, a wide array of media from NPR to Buzzfeed. Carolyn has earned certificates from both the French Culinary Institute and the eCornell Plant-Based Nutrition program. She lives in New Jersey.
