Carolyn Settle

Carolyn Settle, MSW, LCSW, lives in Scottsdale, Arizona, and has over 44 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults who have experienced abuse, trauma, and/or loss. She has presented and written about childen and adolescents in her coauthored book EMDR and the Art of Psychotherapy With Children: Guidebook and Treatment Manual (2023), now in its third edition. She has presented at numerous EMDR conferences nationally and internationally and will soon release an international course on EMDR with children. She is also the coinvestigator of a fidelity study concerning EMDR with children, and she has coauthored three chapters and three journal articles on EMDR with children. She is an EMDR International Association (EMDRIA)-approved consultant and an EMDR Institute trainer.
