Cat GouldOriginally from Australia, Cat Gould has now settled in Southern Oregon where she completed her BFA in Performance with a Creative Writing Minor at SOU. Cat is a passionate story teller and enjoys the wealth of opportunities in our community to write perform and witness stories. Through the use of IPA and research she is adept at creating authentic and unique dialects that bring depth and context to her characters. She has performed many roles in over 20 regional productions from Lady Macbeth, to Clytemnestra in the Greek tragedy The Oresteia and Fraulein Kost in Cabaret. Her love of language and communication of the human condition makes her a dedicated artist of the written word. She uses James Joyce’s novel Finnegans Wake to find names for her dogs.
