Catharine Lumby Catharine Lumby has worked at the Sydney Morning Herald, as an adviser to the South Australian Equal Opportunity Commissioner and as a university lecturer. In 1994 she was awarded a Harkness Fellowship and moved to New York to tke up residence for 18 months as a visiting scholar at New York University.
