Catherine Chan

Catherine Chan is a senior researcher with the Australian Centre for Advanced Photovoltaics at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia. She completed her PhD on laser doping and her research currently focuses on addressing the negativ impacts of hydrogen with light- and elevated-temperature-induced degradation (LeTID) in PERC cells. She has demonstrated rapid approaches to eliminate such degradation and her work has led to the development of industrial tools to mitigate LeTID.
