Cathy WarnerCathy Warner is a poet, writer, photographer, teacher, editor, and home renovator who lives on the shores of Washington's Hood Canal. She's author of three books of poetry: Difficult Gifts (2023), Home By Another Road (2019), and Burnt Offerings (201), and the editor of the poetry anthologies Poemographs for Peace (2022), Poemographs (2021) and Viral Verse: Poetry from the Pandemic (2020). Her fiction, short memoir, and essays have appeared in dozens of print journals and online venues including Under the Sun, The Other Journal, So To Speak, Water Stone, and the blogs of Ruminate, Relief, and Image. She is represented in several anthologies, most recently Crone Rising (2021) and West of the Divide (2019). Recipient of the Steinbeck and SuRaa fiction awards, Cathy has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize and Best American Essays. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Seattle Pacific University.
