Charles BerberianBerberian was born in Baghdad, Iraq in 1959, and spent many years of his childhood in Lebanon. At the age of 18, he took courses in Fine Arts in Paris, where he met François Avril. After meeting Philippe Dupuy in 1983, they would release over 25 albus and many illustrative works under the name of Dupuy and Berberian. This includes the series 'Henriette', the diary of a shy young teenage girl. They were awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Angouleme International Comics Festival in 2008.
