Charles G HulseCharles G. Hulse (1929-2016) was a writer, dancer, and theater personality. He graduated from the Doris Aaron Academy of Dance on Haight Street and worked as a dancer at the Copacabana nightclub in San Francisco before enlisting in the US Air Force dring the Korean War. After several years of traveling, Hulse returned to America, only to leave again for Paris in 1960 to join his partner, Gordon Merrick, whom he had met as a cabaret dancer in the city.
