Charles PaolinoCharles Paolino is managing editor at RENEW International. He is a permanent deacon of the Diocese of Metuchen, New Jersey, ministering in liturgy, preaching, and adult education at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Whitehouse Station. He also is columnist for The Catholic Spirit, the newspaper and website of the Diocese of Metuchen, and a freelance theater critic. He is the author of four books in The Living Gospel series.

Paolino spent forty-three years in newspaper journalism and more than thirty years as an adjunct instructor of English at multiple universities and colleges, including Seton Hall and Rutgers. He earned a bachelor's degree in communications from Seton Hall and a master's degree in journalism from Penn State. He and his wife, Patricia Ann, live in Whitehouse Station.
