Upon graduation from Southern Illinois University studying Architecture, Design, and Psychology he relocated to San Francisco and currently lives in Sonoma County, CA. As the founder of Prowell Woodworks, inc, his articles, profiles and features have appeared in Fine Woodworking, Fine Homebuilding, This Old House, Woodwork, and Old House Journal, among others.
