Charles S Mack
CHARLES S. MACK has more than 40 years of experience in politics, business-government relations, and association management. He is the recently retired president and CEO of the Business-Industry Political Action Committee (BIPAC). He previously heded a major food industry association, was director of public and government affairs for a multinational corporation, and served on the staffs of the Republican National Committee and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. He has managed congressional and other political campaigns in several states. Mack has also taught graduate courses in government relations at the United States Military Academy and at George Washington University's Graduate School of Political Management. His three earlier books for Quorum are Lobbying and Government Relations (1989), The Executive's Handbook of Trade and Business Associations (1991), and Business, Politics, and the Practice of Government Relations (1997).
